Make The Art Shine

JR came to me for a website where he could showcase his work and sell his art (store coming soon). I prototyped, designed and coded the website in React/Gatsby and used a Node server to handle stuff such as contact forms and newsletter subscriptions. Go support JR/NSÜPA and follow him on social media.

Tech Stack - Less Dependencies

Normally, I don't like using too many dependencies. So what you see on this site is mostly JavaScript written in React wrapped in some Gatsby. The front-end consists of Gatsby.js, which is basically a wrapper around React. On the back-end, I am using Node and Express to communicate with the newsletter API as well as sending emails. I did the design in Sketch and kept going back and forth with JR until we found a design that he liked. From there it was all code implementation.
